FALL 2025

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

My name is Suzanne Vick, and I’m excited to begin my 8th year as the Athletic Director for the University Place School District. Participation in high school athletics is an incredible opportunity for students to grow. Student-athletes are more engaged in school, earn higher GPAs, and build skills like discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

With 27 sports offered at Curtis High School, we encourage every student to get involved this year!

Our Vision
Our vision is to be excellent in the classroom, in the community, and in competition. This past year, our athletes thrived in the classroom and earned athletic state championships, served the community through volunteer work, and represented our school with pride and character.

Registration is Now Open
All athletic registration is done through FinalForms.
Athletes must be fully registered and cleared to participate.
  • Returning users: Log in to update your information and register for upcoming sports.
  • New users: Visit https://universityplace-wa.finalforms.com, create your account, add your student(s), and complete all required forms.
Medical Clearance
School and District nurses clear all student-athletes medically. This does not happen manually and will take some time. These will all be cleared by the first day of practice. If your child has a need to carry life saving medicine, please submit doctors orders as soon as possible. Failure to do so could result in not being able to practice.

ASB and Fines
All student-athletes must purchase an ASB card to participate in athletics. All fines must be cleared prior to purchasing an ASB. This can be taken care of at Viking/Cougar Days or online at https://wa-universityplace.intouchreceipting.com/

Communication & Google Classroom
Coaches will communicate with student-athletes through Google Classroom, Student Square, and Final Forms. Please ensure your student joins the Google Classroom for each sport they’re interested in. For sport-specific questions, please contact the head coach directly. Contact information is available on the CHS Athletics website and in the document link below.

Transfer Students
Only current UPSD students may participate in our athletic programs. If your student is new to the district or you have questions, please email me at svick@upsd83.org.

Final Forms is our online forms and data management service. Final Forms allows you to complete and
sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that Final Forms saves data
from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information
twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving
you time. You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. You will be required to sign your forms once per year and after any update.

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. LOGIN HERE

ALL parents and athletes will be required to use Final Forms.
In addition, all athletes will need to have a current physical, clear all fines and purchase an ASB.

VISION

University Place School District Athletic Department Philosophy

Vision Statement - The University Place School District will be recognized for excellence in the classroom, in the community and in competition.

Philosophy Statement - The University Place School District Athletic Department is committed to fostering excellence in all areas—academics, athletics, and personal growth. We strive to create a culture where student-athletes can thrive both in and out of the classroom, setting a foundation for lifelong success. Through equitable opportunities for all, we aim to build a championship culture that unites students, staff, and the community, igniting pride and loyalty that strengthens Our Viking Nation.

At the heart of our philosophy is a deep commitment to servant leadership. We believe in upholding our core values of Commitment, Ownership, Respect, and Excellence (C.O.R.E.). These principles guide our actions and decisions, shaping student-athletes into individuals who lead with integrity, take responsibility for their growth, and pursue excellence in everything they do.

Curtis High School student-athletes embody "The Curtis Way" by competing with passion, persevering through challenges, and committing to excellence in the classroom. They lead by example, prioritize their time, and set goals that drive them toward success. Through humility, confidence, and intentionality, they represent Curtis and Our Viking Nation with pride, always striving to grow and support each other on and off the field.
Thank you for your constant support! You can always find the latest athletic information at CURTIS HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS and be sure to follow Curtis High School Athletics @OURVIKINGNATION on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
